Vertika Srivastava is a bharatanatyam dancer, currently based in the NY/NJ area.

She began studying bharatanatyam under Prema Sondor as a child and has trained with Viraja and Shyamjith Kiran since 2018. She has performed across the country with a range of ensembles—including Nava Dance Theatre from 2014 to 2022—and as a soloist and choreographer, at venues including ODC PUSHFest and SafeHouse Arts as well as in self-produced shows.

When she's not doing bharatanatyam, Vertika dabbles in other kinds of movement—most enthusiastically, living room dance parties with her kid and husband. Additionally, she teaches bharatanatyam in Central Jersey and works as a software engineer at Patreon.
